Unfortunately due to the ongoing pandemic, and changes to government advice, all official club meets, including the regular Wednesdays are going to have to be suspended. Both climbing centres in Swansea have already closed anyway, and I would expect the ones in the East to go the same way in the next few days.

The club did have a lot of events planned this year and the lack of regular Wednesdays is going to be disappointing. Obviously the club can’t stop members arranging things privately, but the advice is to avoid unnecessary social interactions and non-essential travel. It would be irresponsible of us to continue with any group activities, even if these are outdoors.

We will be monitoring the situation, and hopefully things will improve enough for us to restart later in the year.
