On Saturday 28th March we will all be creeping out of our winter holes, turning our back on plastic holds and dusting off our trad rack for our first Meet and Greet event of the year at Three Cliffs. This is an opportunity for all club members – young, old, veteran climbers and club newbies – to get together (in the sun hopefully) for a fun social day of climbing, picnicking and sandcastle building.

The crag is an excellent venue for all climbing abilities with a good mix of trad grades. We will be setting up some top-ropes for those not confidently leading or seconding trad and there will be plenty of opportunity for all to get involved. We have some club harnesses and helmets for those that need to borrow kit.

Please indicate if you are able to come on the club bulletin board or for potential new members who are interested in coming along and finding out more about the club please get in touch with James ([email protected]) or Matt ([email protected]).

The easiest parking for Three Cliffs is the National Trust carpark in Southgate, about 30 minutes walk from the crag, and as low tide is about 2.30 pm and the crag is climbable for around 3 hours either side, we will be meeting at the carpark at 10:30 before ambling westwards along the clifftops to the beach.

Any questions then just post on the bulletin board or get in touch with me on [email protected].
