It’s been a few years since the club has had an organised trip to the Lakes.  We’re heading up there for the late May bank holiday weekend

The plan is to stay in the Borrowdale valley, at Chapel House farm campsite, and use that as a base for climbing and walking

This trip is also in part being run as a memorial to John Custance. His favourite route was Little Chamonix on Shepherd’s Crag in Borrowdale. In memory to John there is the idea of doing something like getting as many people on the route (safely) at the same time or continuous ascents by SWMC teams.
