Wednesday Night Climbing – 14th May

After a period of unsettled weather, tomorrow is expected to be good, with temperatures in the high 20s.

East
There was rain upon turning up a fortnight ago to Navigation Quarry, so we’re going to have another attempt this week, where we’ll be meeting from about 6pm. Information on the crag and routes can be found on the wiki: https://swmc.org.uk/wiki/Navigation_Quarry_-_Cilfynydd
If you’re attending and are offering, or require lift sharing, please feel free to use the email list or post on the Bulletin Board.
West
Due to popular demand, there will now be a location decided in advance for climbing in the west, which will be arranged via the club Bulletin Board. For this week, that will be Black Buttress Quarry, Rhossili where a few members will be meeting around 5:30pm, although getting there earlier is possible, and heading to the Worm’s Head Hotel for a drink afterwards. The National Trust car park will be closed tomorrow, although the parking at the Church and a temporary field will be available. Information on the crag and routes can be found on the wiki: https://swmc.org.uk/wiki/Rhossili_Upper_Crags#Black_Buttress_Quarry

Some members will be meeting at Mike Davies Leisure in Upper Killay at 5:30pm in order to share lifts.
