It was the hottest July on record in most parts of the country.  However, at Graves End Wall, 11 Westies braved the rain, wind and cold temperatures to do a bit of climbing.

This Wednesday (8th July), we are attempting to do something different.  We are meeting the Easties at Dinas Rock.

Check the wiki page or this Google Map Page for directions.  Do not park in the “car park”; its gates shut early and you’ll risk being locked in.  Park out in the residential road before the small bridge.

The weather forecast is looking slightly damp for Wednesday.  Dinas, owing to its situation, doesn’t dry quickly and if it is damp then people are unlikely to want to climb there.  Check your email and this page (also Facebook and Twitter) for updates and any change of plan.
