PREAMBLE
A short leaning wall situated on the east side of the headland on the east side of Caswell Bay. There are some hollow holds at the top that are worth respecting.
ACCESS
Park at the Caswell Bay car park (see Caswell Bay for more details). Approach by following the cliff path east (left when looking out to sea) past steps that climb up to the headland. From just past the top of the steps, follow an obvious path that leads down past the top of the crag. Belays are set well back.
DESCENTS
THE ROUTES
1. Shiver 10m HVS,5a
Start off prominent boulder at a faint crack 2m left of East Of Eden. Make a hard pull to gain the break, then follow the pocketed wall above.
2. East Of Eden 10m E2,5c
Start at the base of an obvious diagonal crack that runs rightwards from a pointed boulder. Make a sharp pull to gain the break, then launch directly up the wall, with surprisingly good protection. Finish just left of prominent block at the top.
3. The Getaway 12m E1,5c
As for East Of Eden to the break, then follow the break all the way left above the cave.
