Template talk:Googlemap

Hi Alan, I took out your additions because they interfere with the rendering of all the maps. The format of the template is quite specific. "== Headings ==" aren't allowed. It's a template and so doesn't need to be viewed by itself. --Tim Hoddy 12:26, 12 May 2011 (BST)

OK... I may have done what you were trying to do... we have a TOC now. I used the <noinclude></noinclude> tag

e.g.

<noinclude>This isn't part of the template</noinclude>

Location of Cwmcarn

We have two locations. The one that doesn't link is i.e.

51.638413, -3.129065 ~CwmCarn ~ ~File:Orange.png;

is, I suspect the real location.

The other:

51.684384, -3.437744 ~Cwmcarn ~ ~File:Orange.png;

is the wrong location. What is at this second location? Alan? --Tim Hoddy 13:50, 12 May 2011 (BST)

A Plea to Editors - If you get the chance, would you please get a GPS lat/long fix for each crag location that does not appear in the template. If you don't have a GPS then you could, at a pinch, use GoogleEarth/Bing/etc. to get the lat/long. Once a location is in the template, it will appear on the maps. Thanks. --Tim Hoddy 16:27, 26 April 2012 (BST)

Indeed! Mark W. is looking into whether what they are doing is actually legal. Rubbish pub. We gave up going there after climbing years ago after they changed the decor and then always appeared to run out of beer and crisps on weekday evenings. Things is, the bar staff used to look at us as if we were being unreasonable when we asked for beer. Gave up and now everyone goes to The Joiners Arms in Bishopston... much better pub... better beer, etc. --Tim Hoddy (talk) 12:55, 11 June 2013 (BST)
