Talk:Taffs Well West
The Slabs - First Ascent list is not correct.
We should identify some pages on the wiki as "exemplar pages"; i.e. those pages which are correctly formatted and regularly updated. These pages would serve as an example for those editing other pages. I think this page is one. --Tim Hoddy 07:40, 15 October 2010 (BST)
I totally agree with you on this one Taffs Well West, Navigation Quarry and Crymlyn Quarries are probably the best few examples.
I don't know if the sub headings are preferable on the Navigation Quarry page or not. i.e.
LEFT HAND RETAINING WALL
or the Crymlyn Variety
CRAG A
Left Hand Retaining Wall
The second variety is more flexible for the larger crags where bigger splits are required.
What you think?--Alan rosier 10:34, 15 October 2010 (BST)
I much prefer the left-aligned sub-headings because: 1) they look better. and 2) No HTML is used. We should be careful about using HTML and should avoid it if at all possible. --Tim Hoddy 17:39, 15 October 2010 (BST)
I echo and agree with the above. Left looks better when using different sized screens too i.e. a netbook. I also got some pics of this crag that i'll put up sometime today. --Del 09:53, 19 November 2010 (GMT)
I just threw a few more photos on this page. Some are hidden under the topos already drawn, so you will need to click on the photo to see the other versions available. I've reverted back all the topos to be seen from the main page as these are more important. Feel free to delete any of my photos you don't want. Also my laptop screen isn't calibrated correctly; so they might be a bit too dark? --Del 15:07, 19 November 2010 (GMT)
The Slabs - First Ascent list is still not correct.
