Taffs Well Main Access
"Don't forget that this crag is banned. Route descriptions are for historic records only. News via BMC & CCW. -(May 2010)" Did you mean to put this comment on the Taffs Well west page Alan? I had no idea idea there was an access issue at Taffs Well Main? Upon reading the BMC Regional Access Database I can only see reference to 'west'. Are both sites owned by Cemex Ltd or something? --Del 12:19, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
Yes, I did it intentionally. BMC Rep., John Custance, has requested that the Countryside Council for Wales stance is re-affirmed, that is, the crag is banned. No further comment on CCW's stance, it has all been said before.--Alan rosier 21:26, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
Ah righty o. I had no idea there was ever an issue with Taffs Well Main. I've noticed people asking about the wiki edit on the SWMC forums and UKC - so seems i'm not the only one... I'm sure Johnny C is in the know with it all; so will try to get him to update the BMC RAD and post something more detailed on the forums to let people know the situation. I'm taking it as a similar to N.Wales slate type situation. --Del 17:00, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
Hi Del, best not to make BMC take an oficial line. It's been the same conditions imposed for years and years now without any problem. If CCW and BMC want a statement on the wiki, then they shall have it. --Alan rosier 19:24, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
Personaly I think if nothing has changed we should not change the Wiki.--Chris Wyatt 20:48, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
