Penallta is trad, man!

Fixed! ;-) --Tim Hoddy 13:06, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
Just added a load of icons onto the map (All Gower).
So far I've marked, some crags, car parks, cafes and campsites. Take a look at the "ballon" for Shepher's Shop/Cafe. This will show you some of the power of the map. I'm doing this just to show off some features. Doing this particular thing would require some discussion. --Tim Hoddy 13:06, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

Ermmm... the map has disappeared. Will try to retrieve! :-S --Tim Hoddy 14:40, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

Any way of linking the map pages so you don't have to repeat inputting - and potentially missing - crag pins?--Alan rosier 17:31, 10 January 2010 (UTC)

Agree that the way it is currently implemented is cumbersome.
That feature is missing and it was something I looked for. Ideally we'd define one (invisible) page of locations. On the pages where we'd require maps we'd define a window of arbitrary dimensions, scale, etc., in which a map would be displayed drawing it's location data from the other page.
You'd expect the extension to work with 'Templates'... unfortunately it doesn't.
It seems the sensible way to do things but last time I looked it still hadn't been implemented in the extension we use. I can check when I get time. --Tim Hoddy 18:30, 10 January 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, thats what i was trying to say. --Alan rosier 19:09, 10 January 2010 (UTC)

Ok... I've had a look at the docs and it should be possible... I need to set up the template... will do so as soon as I get time. --Tim Hoddy 16:32, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

Hows the map template coming along?--Alan rosier 09:00, 13 January 2010 (UTC)

Map template will not work. I'm currently looking at the latest Maps extension. --Tim Hoddy 06:56, 6 March 2010 (UTC)

Ponterwyd Quarry

Mid-Wales ? --Tim Hoddy 00:02, 13 January 2010 (UTC)

Seems sensible--Alan rosier 09:00, 13 January 2010 (UTC)

Map

Map Of Gower and SE Wales now uses the Maps extension. Currently it is not configured to use OpenLayers as our icons don't quite work as they should.

Will configure OpenLayers just as soon as I find time to edit the icons. --Tim Hoddy 16:04, 27 April 2011 (BST)
