13. Lazy Sunday Afternoon 36m E2,5b **

A poor and contrived start (past the old bolt holes on route) leads to the brilliant finish. It is much more sensible to gain the finish via Seth or Osiris. Start at the foot of a short steep wall midway between the starts of Rhea and Osiris, beneath the widest part of the overhangs above. Climb the wall and the rib above to belay on Osiris. Continue over the roof at its widest point, TR, PR and climb steeply up the wall above. 13. G.Evans, J.Bullock 00.00.1989 (G.Lewis, S.Mundy - Final Roof 00.00.1982)

I was speaking to G. Evans and G.Lewis today and it's been discovered that G.Lewis may have done the whole route, and not just the roof. Both agreed to straightening it all out today. I think it was originally called the 'Lewis Roof' but G.Evans renamed it to the above thinking only the roof was done. Will get details off G.Lewis and edit some time. --Del 19:21, 18 April 2010 (UTC)

Is it worth renaming the route 28 years on? Everyone knows it as Lazy now.--Alan rosier 09:43, 19 April 2010 (UTC)

I'll mention it to the concerned parties. Not even sure he wants to rename it. --Del 20:18, 19 April 2010 (UTC)

Lewes Castle

Just changed this from VS,4c --> HS,4a. Never 4c and it only, in my opinion, gets HS on account of some loose rock and the necessity of making a suitable "runner" at the start of the short traverse.
