Bridgend Area

Sully Island is accessed via a natural tidal causeway. The seaward side has a series of short 7m walls with numerous trad routes. Many may have been done in the past but an attempt to record them and contemporary additions will be made once photo topos are made.

It is also a bouldering spot with a mix of rock types, both soft buff sandstone and hard grey limestone.

Sully Island with varying tide heights along its length???

The large boulder more or less in the middle of the seaward cliffs. Sitting start on the obvious big holds, then right to left with hands no higher than the break 1ft above the lip. Once it runs out, swing up and left to finish.(20ft / 12 move traverse).
