General Discussion

Please continue to list what needs to be done i.e. any trad venue still to be done as you can't follow bolts.

Check this one out www.ukclimbing.com/images/dbpage.html?id=125012

Unusual photo... however, it is not much of 'likeness' and makes the place appear even less dramatic than it already is... especially Lewes Castle. --Tim Hoddy 19:07, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
I now am a proud owner of a Lumix TZ6 (my first ever camera!). Should be able to get out and get a few shots. --Tim Hoddy 19:14, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

Good effort, I hope to see the Gower in a whole new light now, one that gets me interested in good ol'e trad again.--Alan rosier 19:56, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

Well, one way to get "interested" is to come and actually do some... I'd be there with my camera ready!  :-) --Tim Hoddy 10:00, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, if the weather improves this weekend I might. I have a duff arm so am looking to get out and do some severes on Gower. --Alan rosier 11:49, 7 December 2009 (UTC)

OK I'm pretty sure I'm going to gower on Sunday with Rob Mac. Where? Don't care as long as there are easy and well protected routes which are seepage free. Any suggestions? Shire Combe/Anemone Wall? Maybe I'll give Chris a ring--Alan rosier 10:05, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Ooops sorry Alan... only just seen this... Saw that you went to Crab Island... --Tim Hoddy 11:57, 16 January 2010 (UTC)

No worries mate, I'll hopefully get back there soon.--Alan rosier 19:46, 17 January 2010 (UTC)

Upper Edwardsville-X1.JPG

A poor exposure - Need to eliminate tree in centre of shot and extend to the two new routes to the right. --Del 20:31, 16 September 2009 (UTC)

Just took another one: --Del 20:31, 16 September 2009 (UTC)

Good, maybe a little too much colour saturation

Hidden Taffs Well - Castle Quarry (complete)

A nightmare to take due to all the variation in light along the crag. I settled with this one. --Del 20:31, 16 September 2009 (UTC)

Ogmore

I do a bit of kayaking and could do a whole landscape of Ogmore if needed?

That would be superb! --Tim Hoddy 15:45, 17 September 2009 (UTC)

Indeed, a sunny day (out of summer) would be best. There are numerous bays which would provide sections to the crag for panoramic shots.

I popped over both Sat evening and Sun morning and it was still shaded. The sun comes up from the left and sets on the right it seems. Meaning the face was in the shade but the rest of the quarry was receiving loads of light. I took a few from across the quarry and from below but non came out very well. I'll have to go back and take some more perhaps in the afternoon. --Del 09:35, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

It's difficult to get a good shot suitable for a topo. I haven't managed it. But yours are the best I've seen. --Tim Hoddy 06:21, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

Three Cliffs

A good crag shot and Topo'd would be useful for Gower visitor. ~82.7.192.163

Completed in the summer of 2016 --Tim Hoddy (talk) 12:27, 18 April 2017 (BST)

It might be some time before i'm that way now but i'll make sure I get something when i'm next there. --Del 17:55, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
