GeoTagging photos is easy.
- Synchronise your camera's time with your GPS. (N.B. Ensure your GPS has got acquisition)
- Go for a walk with your camera and GPS. Set your GPS to record its tracklog and, with your camera, take photos.
- Back home, export your track log from your GPS to your computer. (Not necessary if you use Geotag.
- If necessary, convert your tracklog to a format suitable for use in photo-tracklog correlation software. (e.g.GPSBabel)
- Transfer your new photos to your computer.
- Using software (e.g. Geotag) correlate your photos with your tracklog.
