BOLTING POLICY
Retro-bolting permissible with first ascensionist’s permission. Replacement of worn fixed gear on a point for point basis with bolts is permissible. New sports routes allowed.
PREAMBLE
Some short limestone walls visible from and very close to the A4609. In the centre of the bay is a 12m wall, with four cracklines.
ACCESS
From Brynamman follow the A4069 Llangadog road for 3 miles until a car park is reached just below the crest of the hill as for Herbert’s Quarry. Clogau Maur is about 1km WNW of Herbert’s Quarry.
DESCENTS
Walk off.

The obvious thin righward-slanting groove in the grey wall towards the left side of the crag. Mantle onto the ledge below the groove, from the left, past a spike runner. Ascend the groove (runners in a shot hole), to reach a small tree and shuffle right at the top. 12m. M. Crocker 19.06.1994
