The second beginners day is being held at Box Bay

From Wednesday May 11th, the West members will be following their summer schedule and meeting in the

 Weather permitting, the West members will be meeting at the Beaufort Arms in Kittle to climb at  Barland Quarry at 17:30.

Weather permitting, the West members will be meeting on Wednesday at the carpark next to the old post office in Penmaen (map) at 17:30 to climb on Odin’s Wall.

Weather permitting, the West members will be meeting on Wednesday at the Southgate carpark (map) at 17:30 to climb at Pennard.  If it is raining, we will be meeting at Dynamic Rock at 18:30 as usual.

The South Wales Mountaineering Club is running the first of this year’s beginners’ days on Sunday April 17th.  This is an ideal opportunity to get some experience climbing outside with guidance from the more experienced members.  We’ll be meeting on Three Cliffs Bay, Gower at 09:15.   Anyone attending will need to be aged 18 …
