The first meet and greet event of the year, or “turn up and tie on” as BMC like to call it, is planned for Saturday 2 April!

Usual format – meet in the National Trust car park in Southgate, find new/trial members and fill in any paperwork if no done online beforehand, then amble down to the beach and do some climbing. If there’s plenty of leaders and experience belayers then we can lead/second, but if not we’ll be looking for the more experienced members to set up top ropes and be available to teach.

Low tide is just after 2pm, and the main cliffs gets at least 3 hours either side, so 10:30am meeting time at the car park.
