Last Wednesday the Westies made their way to a damp, (and quite slippery), Tor Gro. The biting midges and, at times, quite desperate bush-whacking through dense hawthorn, made for an unusual experience for those who have never been to one of Gower’s more esoteric crags. Those fortunate to get to the top were rewarded by stunning views.
Owing to limited available light, we are pre-arranging this week’s meet. Westies are meeting at Southgate National Trust Car Park at 17.30 and climbing at Pennard Buttress. See Map for details.
