The South Wales Mountaineering Club is running the second of this year’s beginners’ days on Sunday May 10th. This is an ideal opportunity to get some experience climbing outside with guidance from the more experienced members. We’ll be meeting on Three Cliffs Bay, Gower at 10:00. Anyone attending will need to be aged 18 or over and a member, but can join on the day for just £15. Please contact Steve Hill if you are interested in attending.
Directions
Park at the Southgate National Trust carpark (next to the Three Cliffs Coffee Shop), exit the carpark at the South West corner and walk along the road to the West. Follow the coast path along the top and down onto Pobbles Beach, then walk Westwards onto Three Cliffs Bay.
Equipment
You will need a climbing harness and belay device. A helmet is also worth having and rockboots would definately be advantageous.
