Hi Tim, I am looking to find out what my browser window is set at and therefore the best to advisers users to set, from your note - dependant on at what resolution the viewer is running his monitor. You can see this if you resize your browser - mine looks fine but how do I find out the details. I can then put up a note and ask viewers to use these settings to get the most from the wiki formatting? Long one I know but...--Alan rosier 17:31, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

I think it's impractical to ask users to resize their monitor. Far better is to write the wiki pages in such a way that, in practice, the resolution of the monitor makes little difference to the relative positions of text and graphics. This means avoiding white space in the markup; e.g. not using lots of blank lines to position text. Do this and you shouldn't have to worry too much. --Tim Hoddy 20:08, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Hmmm... I'll look to see if the title of the first page can be changed 'from Main Page' to something sensible.
